If you are a Ledger Nano user and want to add a second Tezos address to Temple Wallet, it is essential to understand that Temple Wallet does not automatically manage external accounts in the same way that Ledger Live does. Here is a detailed guide to doing this manually.
You will see a pop-up window as shown here.
‍

Be sure to note the derivation path, especially the “FreshAddressPath” portion which is important for the manual process in Temple Wallet.
This manipulation allows Temple Wallet to correctly recognize and add your second Tezos account. Make sure that the derivation path for the first account is the standard used by default on the Tezos blockchain, which is 44'/1729'/0'/0'.
Verify both of your Tezos accounts in Ledger Live. Ideally, the bypass path for the Tezos 1 account should be 44'/1729'/0'/0', and for the Tezos 2 account, it should be 44'/1729'/1'/0' or another number depending on the accounts previously created.
By following these steps, you will be able to manually connect your second Tezos Ledger address to Temple Wallet, offering more flexible management of your digital assets.
